Welcome back to Top Dogs of Marketing, where this week we have not one but five dogs on show from the team at Phantom Billstickers.
On any given day, there’s any number of puppers roaming the outdoor advertising company’s Auckland office – they’ve been a dog-friendly business since the beginning when billstickers would take their canine friends on poster runs, says CEO Robin McDonnell. Their logo commerorates one such friend, bulldog Raymond Louis.

McDonnell was so excited when he heard about the Top Dog initiative that he immediately wrangled the three dogs who were in the office at the time – Missy, Tracey and Obi – for a squad photo.
Say hello to the crew

Name: Missy
Job title: Chief Morale Booster
Time in role: Three years
About Missy: Eight years old, Missy is a rescue greyhound. Keeping a smile on everyone’s face is her top priority. She is also McDonnell’s dedicated office companion.

Obi
Name: Obi
Job title: Co-commercial manager
Time in role: Three years.
About Obi: Obi is five years old and is a Phantom veteran of three years. Obi is so committed to teamwork that he even job-shares with commercial manager Yoyo. The team is not entirely sure what his half of the job entails, but hey. He certainly knows how to pose for a photo.
Tracey

Name: Tracey
Job title: Expert Under-desk Associate
Time in role: Four years.
About Tracey: Tracey has been part of the Phantom family since she was a tiny fluffball. She’s currently serving as the expert under-desk associate to account manager Anton. Those glasses she’s rocking are pretty fetching!
Friday

Name: Friday
Job title: Chief Muse
Time in role: Three years.
About Friday: Born on Good Friday 2020, Friday has been with Phantom for three years and serves as the chief muse for creative lead Connor. He truly is a creative at heart!

Sage
Name: Sage
Job title: Health and Safety Officer
Time in role: One year.
About Sage: Sage is one year and five months old and is the youngest member of the dog team at Phantom Billstickers. She has been with the company for a year and her official role is to ensure all under-desk cables are neatly stowed, conducting regular inspections and tests. Sage is the dedicated companion of account manager Courtney.

Tarzan (the cat)
We’re not going to make a habit of this, but honorable mention also goes to Tarzan the cat, who is the furry companion of Phantom’s marketing manager Tom Horton. “Tarzan is a full legend!” declares Horton. Enough said.
Top Dogs of Marketing is our regular Friday feature where we unleash our furry favourites and celebrate their contribution to office life. Last week, we featured Louis of the Marketing Association, who might just be the most cuddled dog in Auckland.
If you reckon your very good girl or boy deserves to feature in a future #TDOM, tell us all about them using the form below.
Come back next week for another Top Dog!
