Welcome back to Top Dogs of Marketing, where this week we snuggle up with Louis from the Marketing Association. Chances are, if you’ve been to the MA offices in Auckland’s Parnell, you’ve met the cheerful little chap – he might even have popped up on your lap for a cuddle.
“I think he is the most cuddled dog in Auckland,” says his human, Marketing Association CEO John Miles.
Louis – full name Louis Theodore Miles – is a fixture at the MA. He is often there even when Miles is away on business, as various members of staff are happy to dogsit.
Say hello to Louis
Job title: Chief Happiness Officer.
Time in role: Three years. “Louis comes into the office with me every day and has done so since he was a puppy,” says Miles.
About Louis: He is three years old and is a pomchi (half pomeranian and half chihuahua).
A social dog, Louis likes to hang out with four-legged friends as well as the many humans he sees at work. “Louis loves going to ‘Club Debs’ where his sisters, Winnie, DJ and Aurora, live with Debbie,” says Miles. “They basically go crazy.” The pomchi also enjoys visiting Emma at Marilena’s, and going for walks with Bella at the Domain.
He likes to bark at other dogs – but not his friends Bella, DJ and crew.
Skills: Responsibilities include taking people for walks to get them away from their computers, sitting on laps and giving people cuddles when they come into the office.
Top snacks: Louis loves duck tenders and roast chicken.

Top Dogs of Marketing is our regular Friday feature where we unleash our furry favourites and celebrate their contribution to office life. Last week, we kicked off with Pockets, who works hard at Chief Nap Officer at Kindred Studio.
If you reckon your very good girl or boy deserves to feature in a future #TDOM, tell us all about them using the form below.
Come back next week for another Top Dog!
