Happy Friday, it’s time for Top Dogs of Marketing! Today, meet Bear, Byrdie, Bella and Lady Baabaa from Auckland-based creative studio Likeminds.
This motley crew includes two border terriers, a huntaway and… a lamb? While Lady Baabaa isn’t strictly a dog, we at NZ Marketing magazine like to acknowledge all of the fluffy friends that make agencies hum, whether that be canine, feline or ovine.

They might not have job titles, but the dogs are dedicated to keeping clients entertained says Likeminds’ Mike Watkins. Meanwhile Lady Baabaa makes the rounds as debt collector. Collecting what, we’re unsure, but you’d be hard pressed to deny this cute lamb her dues.

Say hello to the crew from Likeminds
Bear: While raggamuffin border terrier Bear doesn’t hold an official role at Likeminds, but could easily hold down a job as ambassador for Kiwi brands. This pup rocks a Swanndri dog jacket like a pro.
Byrdie: Three-year old border terrier Byrdie is Bear’s sister. She is described as both the cuddle monster of the Likeminds office and the best hot water bottle in town. Her human is co-founder and strategy director Noel Blackwell.
Clearly a big fan of snacks, Byrdie would eat the food out of your mouth if she could. She often rips up her bed and toys, so she’s not allowed them any more.
Bella: This gal is an eight-year-old huntaway and partner in crime to creative Heleana McNaught. She loves a good yarn in the office. So much so that the team often have to tell her to use her inside voice.
Bella loves chasing her ball, swimming in the ocean and stealing her siblings’ food.
Lady Baabaa: Technically a lamb, she’s two years old and loves to wear nappies, according to her human, creative partner Damian Alexander. Baabaa thinks she’s a dog, and the team is not about to burst her bubble.

Top Dogs of Marketing is our regular Friday feature where we unleash our furry favourites and celebrate their contribution to office life. Last week, we met Margot, Proximity Engineer, from Academy In-House.
If you reckon your very good girl or boy deserves to feature in a future #TDOM, tell us all about them using the form below.
Come back next week for another Top Dog!
