Top Dogs of Marketing: Margot from Academy In-House

Happy Friday, it’s time for Top Dogs of Marketing! Meet Margot, the Proximity Engineer at Auckland-based agency Academy In-House.

A baby of lockdown, the English springer spaniel has been coming to work with her human and Academy founder, Harry Dalton, for most of her four years.

Academy quickly realised they had a star employee on their hands when she started finding gaps in the market everywhere. Hence, Margot became a permanent member of the team, named as agency’s the Proximity Engineer.

Say hello to Margot from Academy In-House

Job title: Proximity Engineer

Time in paw-sition: Most of her life

About Margot: Nothing gets her more excited than a hoof – she looks at it like it’s a Big Mac Combo, says Dalton. Margot is also fond of a “mudding”, which we take to mean getting covered in mud. Plus, she’s a big fan of birds.

Skills: Margot is great at finding a gap in the market. The gap is usually the small section between the back of your chair and your behind. Snuggle in, Margot!

Top Dogs of Marketing is our regular Friday feature where we unleash our furry favourites and celebrate their contribution to office life. Last week, we met Aslan and Gunner from The Art of the Possible.

If you reckon your very good girl or boy deserves to feature in a future #TDOM, tell us all about them using the form below.

Come back next week for another Top Dog!
