Exploring the future of marketing at Salesforce Connections 2023

As the bustling city of Chicago steps into the summer months, an atmosphere of anticipation is in the air, signalling the arrival of one of the largest conferences in the realm of digital marketing, Salesforce’s Connections 2023. Among the journalists invited by Salesforce is our very own Feature Writer Ayla Miller who will report back from the Windy City.

With a history dating back to 2007, Connections is an annual conference held by American cloud-based software company Salesforce.

For the uninitiated, Connections serves as a platform for professionals, industry leaders, and Salesforce enthusiasts to come together and explore the transformative potential of customer relationship management (CRM) and marketing automation.

This year, Salesforce has extended an invitation to a group of approximately 10 international journalists, including NZ Marketing, who will travel to Chicago to provide first-hand coverage of the latest advancements in this field.

The event promises an immersive experience designed to inspire, educate, and empower attendees across various sectors, with a focus on cultivating stronger customer relationships. Attendees can expect to explore innovative solutions and cutting-edge strategies that drive customer engagement and enhance business outcomes.

Central to the event’s agenda is the spotlight on Digital 360 innovations, a comprehensive concept encompassing three distinct Salesforce products: Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, and Experience Cloud. Through Digital 360, Salesforce aims to provide businesses with a holistic framework to connect with customers seamlessly and deliver exceptional experiences across marketing, commerce, and service touchpoints.

Among the many captivating talks and events, a keynote that is sure to stand out is the discussion between Dan Levy, an Emmy Award-winning creator, writer, actor, director, and producer, and Salesforce CMO Sarah Franklin.

This conversation will delve into the significance of representation in storytelling, highlighting how authentic narratives can foster genuine connections with customers. Attendees will gain insights into creating meaningful moments and adopting innovative approaches to connect with their target audience in impactful ways.
