Welcome back to Top Dogs of Marketing! We’re following up on last week with another cavoodle, because we can’t get enough of them. Meet Blaze, the fluffy pup melting hearts at the Auckland office of Farrimond and Tonic Communications.
Tonic PR consultant Kara Sweney describes four-year old Blaze as the darling of the office – a solicitor of snacks and snuggles, it’s a wonder the team get any work done when he’s around.
Blaze holds two roles: the office’s official Lunch Monitor, and the unofficial Director of Happiness. He makes sure no one misses a lunch break while his tail wags and cuddles bring joy to office life.
Say hello to Blaze
Job title: Official Lunch Monitor, (unofficial) Director of Happiness
Time in paw-sition: Three years
About Blaze: As the unofficial Director of Happiness and official Lunch Monitor, Sweney says Blaze brings joy, tail wags and the occasional barked courier alert to office life.
When he’s not collecting cuddles or soliciting snacks, he’ll be loyally shadowing his human, Farrimond studio manager Jim Kilgallon, like the goodest little intern.
Skills: He’s soft, he’s sweet and he takes belly rubs as payment. What more could you want from a colleague?

Top Dogs of Marketing is our regular Friday feature where we unleash our furry favourites and celebrate their contribution to office life. Last week, we met Teddy, Chief Stinker at Thinkerbell Aotearoa.
If you reckon your very good girl or boy deserves to feature in a future #TDOM, tell us all about them using the form below.
Come back next week for another Top Dog!
