The entry process follows the same format as previous years, and the judging process remains unchanged from 2023. However, the marking rubric will be available for entrants to view on the Awards Entry Portal from the start of the Call For Entries. We have also introduced three new categories into this year’s awards and renamed one.
- Brand of the Year – Individual Awards (Internationally judged by the indomitable marketing professor Mark Riston)
- Best Use of Video Marketing Campaign – Campaign Awards
- Best Use of Content Marketing Campaign – Campaign Awards
- Marketer of the Future – Formerly Up-&-Coming Marketer of the Year – Individual Awards
For the new category, Brand of the Year, YouTube shares their 2023 series with international judge Mark Ritson; YouTube Works. Check out the series here and here.

You can enter the same marketing strategy/project into as many Marketing Excellence Awards as you like with the exceptions:

You must complete a separate electronic Marketing Excellence Award entry form for each of the marketing strategies/projects being entered. For the Excellence in Brand Transformation Strategy category the launch must be within the last 12 months (March 2023 onwards).
