How do I enter?

Entries into the 2023 TVNZ-NZ Marketing Awards closed on May 9, 2023. Finalists will be announced in the coming months.

Is there anything new about entering the TVNZ-NZ Marketing Awards in 2023?

The entry process follows the same format as years past, and the judging process remains unchanged from 2021. The Awards centred on Short-Term Marketing Initiatives from 2022 have been renamed to the Marketing Campaign Awards so to better articulate the requirements of these awards.

How many awards can I enter?

You can enter the same marketing strategy/project into as many Marketing Excellence Awards as you like with the exceptions:

  • Either Excellence in Consumer Products & Services Strategy or Excellence in Fast Moving Consumer Goods Strategy.
  • Either Excellence in Not-for-Profit Marketing Strategy or Excellence in Public Sector/Government Marketing Strategy.

You must complete a separate electronic Marketing Excellence Award entry form for each of the marketing strategies/projects being entered.

You may only enter a campaign into the Marketing Campaign Awards if it has run in a 12 month or less timeframe, and has happened in the past year.

If a specific campaign is referenced as part of a marketing strategy in a Marketing Excellence Award entry, it can also be entered into a Marketing Campaign Awards category so long as the above time periods apply.

What is the entry deadline?

Entries are closed for 2023.

Can I get my agency to help me with my entry?
